Open Qualifiers Unfortunately both Luke Burrows and Tom Murray did not manage to gain one of the qualifying slots available at their final events (there were only three available at each venue). Nevertheless it was a considerable effort in reaching the final stages of qualifying and I am sure the experience will be of great benefit in future years.
Lymm Member Luke Burrows was successful at the Regional Qualifying event for this year's Open. Playing at Mere Luke secured one of the 12 qualifying slots with a score of 70. Luke now progresses to the Local Final Qualifying event at Littlestone where he will play two rounds on Tuesday June 28. Former Junior Member Tom Murray was also successful at Mere and he will play at Princes in the Local Final Qualifier. I am sure all members would congratulate Luke and Tom for their efforts so far and wish them the best of luck in the final stage of qualifying for the Open at Royal St Georges |
