Both Lymm's 1st and 2nd Teams had great results in the recent North Cheshire League semi-finals.

In the first leg of the two leg semi-final the 1st Team played away at Davyhulme but all did not look good for the 2nd leg when Lymm lost 5-3. However, after Lymm managed a great win in the 2nd leg at home by the same score the result was decided by a sudden death playoff in Lymm's favour.

Lymm 1st Team will now play Birchwood on Sunday 5th September at Davyhulme for the North Cheshire League Trophy.

 

Having missed out in the Qualifying Leagues Lymm's 2nd Team played in the two leg semi-finals of the Challenge Trophy.

Lymm played away at local rivals Warrington in the 1st leg and came away with a disappointing result losing 5¹/₂ - 2¹/_2. Lymm's fighting spirit came through in the home tie which again they won by the same score and were also successful in the sudden death playoff.

Lymm's 2nd Team will now play Birchwood (at Lymm) for the Challenge Trophy on a date yet to be decided.
